The Viking News will need photographers to cover scheduled events, un-scheduled events or activities that may be of general interest (or just interesting shots), to provide creative shots either campus-related or of campus community interest, to treat photos with PhotoShop–either in a Digital Photo class or in News Office in the STC–so that such photos are ready for use in a bi-weekly publication and, we hope, its website. We intend to make significant improvement in the newspaper and know that great visual content must be part of that new look. For those who become part of the staff–e.g., chief photographer–The Viking News will pay stipends based on percentage of our ad revenue.

If you join the Viking News staff I will give you extra credit, BUT I you will need to show me  evidence of your work.
